Comments pointed out that the event seemed more like a money grab than a music festival.
According to the LA Times, at $600 for tickets, on top of the high cost of concessions and accommodations, many festival goers opted to purchase their tickets on a payment plan that adds another $40 fee and had to be paid off by March.
