Robert Smith of The Cure marked his 66th birthday today (Monday) by announcing a new collection of remixes.
Mixes of a Lost World is due out June 13th and it features remixes of songs from last year’s Songs of a Lost World.
It will be out as two CD, two LP and two cassette sets, plus deluxe three CD, three LP, three cassette and digital sets. Each disc contains remixes of all eight songs on the original album.
Remixes were done by Chino Moreno of Deftones, Paul Oakenfold, Orbital and many more.
Smith says that all of The Cure’s recording royalties from the collection will benefit WarChild UK.
