Carlo Santana has tested positive for COVID and has postponed a second consecutive show, tonight (Wednesday) in Sugar Land, Texas.
He is resting at his hotel, and his manager Michael Vrionis says, “As some of you are aware, we postponed last night’s show in San Antonio. Unfortunately, out of an abundance of caution, the decision was made to also postpone this evening's show in Sugar Land.
"Carlos experienced dehydration yesterday, and has since tested positive for COVID. I am happy to report that Carlos is doing well and will be back on [stage] Friday in Thackerville, Oklahoma. We appreciate everyone’s well wishes and concern. Carlos is looking forward to seeing you all very soon."
This is the second medical setback for Carlos this year.
In January he had to postpone his eight-show residency at the House of Blues in Las Vegas -- January 22nd through February 2nd -- after falling at home in Hawaii, resulting in him breaking the little finger on his left hand. He had to have pins inserted and wasn't able to play guitar for approximately six weeks.
