Myles Smith made Ed Sheeran cry when he played him one of his songs earlier this year.
Smith told GQ UK that he and Sheeran decided to meet up before they hit the road together in Europe this summer to get to know each other better.
Their conversation turned to new songs and Sheeran asked Smith if he could play something. Smith then performed “My First Heartbreak," a song he had written about his father walking out on the family when Smith was a child. And Sheeran broke down in tears.
Smith said, “I played Ed the song. He had a little cry and he was like, ‘This song is incredible.’”
