We've all seen how AI can be used for evil, and Crowded House is the latest victim of that.
A fictional news broadcast video was circulating on Facebook over last weekend that had an AI-generated report from TVNZ journalist Simon Dallow claiming that frontman Neil Finn had fathered a child at the age of 67.
The video also had a fake Neil Finn saying, "I never thought I'd be able to become a father again...because I simply couldn't. For years, I lived with a problem. Most men are too ashamed to talk about. My erections became weaker and weaker until they stopped altogether."
The band's social media team posted, "We're not sure where this came from, but please don't be fooled. Neil's never had trouble with erections."
