Graham Nash has posted a photo on his socials of him standing outside the former Fillmore East in New York where he lives. He says, “105 2nd Avenue. This building has been many things in its life, maybe its most iconic manifestation was as The Fillmore East. It was short but sweet from 1968-71. Wild to think of all the great musicians who played here and rocked the block. We [Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young] were lucky enough to play here too. When I first moved to NYC this was the Apple Bank. Bummer somebody took the plaque that used to be here commemorating the Fillmore and its history. Who knows what it will become next…”
