Bon Iver's Justin Vernon supports Women's BB, especially the MN Lynx

Bon Iver mastermind Justin Vernon wants his fans to get behind the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx.

Vernon lauched a program with the Lynx at the start of the season to address gender inequality in the Midwest. And with the playoffs underway he shared a photo with the team on his Instagram.

Vernon wrote, "Words aren’t a thing when it comes to this team. Some people don’t get sports. But I swear I’ve never been this inspired - by the very people who create actual magic on the wooden floor with the round ball - and the people in the stands. I’ve never been around such a diverse group of people in one place at any one time. There is SO much love in that room - and we are all rallying around this particular group of women athletes. Do yourself a favor. Be a part of history."

The Lynx lead the Golden State Valkyries 1-0 in their series and can wrap it up with a win Wednesday night in San Jose, California. The game starts at 10pm ET on ESPN.
