SMITHS: That Album Covers Looks Diffferent?

Last year, Morrissey tried to sell his stake in The Smiths. This year he's selling rip offs of the band's own merch.

His UK webstore is selling shirts using the artwork from two of the Smiths albums, 1985’s Meat Is Murder and 1986’s The Queen Is Dead, with his name instead of The Smiths on both covers.

The merch comes just a week after he blasted his former bandmate Johnny Marr about a BBC podcast series using archival interviews and nine months after Morrissey announced he was offering his stake in the band’s name, artwork, recordings, publishing, and merchandising rights to any interested buyer because he wanted to become “disassociated” from the group.
