Fleetwood Mac making waves again plus "Rumours" is turning 50!

Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits, released in 1988, is making Billboard chart news this week.

It's now sitting at number-10 on the Top Album Sales chart after being reissued digitally with additional tracks such as “The Chain,” “Landslide,” “Silver Springs (Live)” and “You Make Loving Fun.”

Its previous high-mark on the charts was 13 in 2016, and that's where it is now on the Billboard 200, jumping from 69, and topping its previous high of 14 in 1989.

Greatest Hits is also back on three other charts -- Vinyl Albums at five, which is two slots higher than its peak of seven in 2019; Top Rock & Alternative Albums at four; and Top Rock Albums at three.

Here's the late Christine McVie on the ongoing success of Fleetwood Mac's catalog.

"A lot of these songs have sold over and over again, some of them for the fifth time. People have gone out to buy different versions of them and also we've introduced ourselves to the younger record buying public and people don't consider us being dinosaurs. We're just kind of part of what their lives have been, you know."

Meanwhile, next year, their album "Rumours" turns 50!
