It’s the 50th anniversary of Electric Ladyland, the landmark double album Jimi Hendrix released in 1968, which is being celebrated with a box set. Putting together this deluxe edition is Eddie Kramer, who was the engineer of the original album and John McDermott, a producer who has overseen a number of Hendrix releases. Both talk about the importance of the album and this new version, what people might not have known about Jimi, and what could have been had he lived:
