Everyday is Earth Day for Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson, love or hate his music, you got to admire his tireless efforts to educate everyday folks on environmental challenges that we all face. Whether it's visiting local High schools in Hawaii and talking about compost recycling, growing and buying local food or plastic in the ocean, or playing benefit concerts for hurricane or fire victims, he works tirelessly to improve the world we live in. Jack not only inspires change with his music, but with his time and his money. Jack was appointed United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador a few years ago for his environmental work, including shedding light on the the plastic problem in our oceans. Above is one of his latest projects on the subject called "The Smog of The Ocean". - Frank
