Remembering singer-songwriter Michael Johnson

One of the first concerts I ever went to while attending Augustana College in Sioux Falls was Michael Johnson.   Johnson was a gifted guitarist with a warm voice,  and it was always a big deal when he performed at Augie, even more so after the release of "Bluer Than Blue."   I was saddened to hear Johnson passed away on July 26 at the age of 72 in his Minneapolis home.  I didn't realize until today that he was a Colorado native, born in Alamosa and later a resident in Denver.  He was even in a band with John Denver!   Remembering Michael Johnson today with his biggest hit and a song I used to play over and over.
