Van Morrison covers skiffle classics on 44th album

Van Morrison, like The Beatles, was heavily influenced by the skiffle sound, a genre of music that incorporates folk with blues and jazz on minimal instruments. Skiffle emerged in the U.S. in the 1920s and became very popular in Britain in the 1950's. Morrison embraces that sound on his 44th album, "Moving on Skiffle," due for release on March 10th. "Streamline Train" is one of the 23 covers that'll be on his latest.
