The Clash's biggest selling album in the U.S., 1982's Combat Rock, is getting a deluxe reissue for its 40th anniversary.
Combat Rock/The People’s Hall adds 12 tracks that weren't on the original 1982 album and will be released digitally, as a two CD set and a triple record set on May 20th. The bonus disc was named after the venue in London where the band rehearsed and recorded in 1981. It includes an alternate version of "Know Your Rights," the B-sides "Long Time Jerk" and "First Night Back in London" plus the album outtakes "The Fulham Connection and "Idle in Kangaroo Court."
There's also a single of two widely bootlegged collaborations with the late Ranking Roger of General Public and The English Beat. Those two songs, "Red Angel Dragnet" and "Rock The Casbah" are out digitally and will be on a seven-inch single on May 20th.
