There is speculation that The Rolling Stones are working with producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder (who got their start in Colorado Springs) on their new album.
Tedder is the cause of the speculation, having tweeted and then deleted: "New Stones album is going to blow your mind. So proud. Stay tuned.”
Don Was has produced the band's last four studio albums starting with 1994's Voodoo Lounge, and he was behind the board when initial recording for this next release started in 2017. At that time he told us, "It's really early. It could go in so many different ways. But you can see the sculpting is just beginning. But it's gonna be a while before there's a record."
Tedder's production credits include U2, Portugal. The Man, John Legend, Bastille, Alicia Keys, Zac Brown, Pink, Rob Thomas and The Fray.
