Billy Idol and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters couldn't perform at Dave Navarro's Above Ground benefit concert Monday due to illness, so Navarro got two big-name replacements --Anthony Kiedis of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Dexter Holland of The Offspring.
Kiedis sang on "Walk on the Wild Side" during a full album performance of Lou Reed's Transformer. Check it out on YouTube. And Holland did "God Save the Queen" during a full album performance of Sex Pistols' Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols.
It's the first time that Kiedis and Navarro have performed on stage together since 1997, which is when Navarro left the Chili Peppers to reform Jane's Addiction.
