OH NO! John Mayer tests positive again!

John Mayer has postponed the next four dates on his tour to May because he and more members of his band tested positive for COVID-19.

The positive tests came just three days after his drummer Steve Ferrone tested positive, forcing Mayer to play semi-acoustic shows in New York and Washington, D.C.

Mayer wrote on Instagram, "This is a bummer for everyone in the band and crew, to say nothing of the question hanging over everyone’s head -- mine included -- as to how I tested positive on PCR twice in two months. (The first was extremely mild, but this one’s got the better of me.)" Mayer tested positive last month just before Dead & Company were to launch their Mexican destination event Playing in the Sand. (That event was canceled a day after Mayer's positive test.)

The rescheduled dates are May 5th in Pittsburgh, May 7th in Belmont Park, New York, and May 9th and 10th in Boston. Mayer and his band are scheduled to resume their tour March 11th in Las Vegas.

He will be in Denver March 27th.
