The Lumineers have revealed the story behind the obscure cover "A Little Sound" on their upcoming Brightside Bonus Tracks EP.
Wesley Schultz wrote on the band's social media, "When we first moved to Denver in 2009, we found the greatest 'open mic' at the Meadowlark Bar, run by this talented and hilarious musician, Tyler Despres. He quickly became a dear friend of ours and even played in our band for a few shows early on. In 2016, Tyler tragically passed away at age 34. 'A Little Sound' is a song Tyler wrote that we would always hound him to play, whether on stage or a back porch. Love and miss you Tyler."
