Cyndi Lauper is back on top in the second week of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Fan Vote with 170,000 votes.
A first-time nominee, she overtook George Michael who jumped out to the lead in week one.
With 1.5-million votes cast, Michael is now second followed by Warren Zevon at three, Soundgarden at four and Willie Nelson at five.
The complete order and number of votes is as follows:

- George Michael - 168,500
- Warren Zevon - 144,000
- Soundgarden - 124,500
- Willie Nelson - 120,000
- Iron Maiden - 119,000
- Joy Division + New Order - 100,500
- Rage Against the Machine - 91,000
- Kate Bush - 90,500
- Sheryl Crow - 88,500
- The Spinners - 79,500
- The White Stripes - 63,000
- Missy Elliott - 51,500
- A Tribe Called Quest - 44,000
Voting is open through April 28th at Vote.RockHall.com or in person at the Museum in Cleveland. The Top 5 artists selected by the public will make up a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to determine the 2023 Inductees. Voting is capped at one ballot per day.
Inductees will be announced in May along with the date and location of the induction ceremony in the fall.
