Cyndi Lauper has fallen to second place in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Fan Vote as the late George Michael regains the top spot, which he held after the first week of voting.
With close to 2.4-million ballots cast, they're only separated by a few thousand votes. The rest of the Top 5 remains the same with the late Warren Zevon third, Soundgarden fourth and Iron Maiden fifth. Numbers six through 14 also remain the same.
The complete order and number of votes, which have been rounded up, is as follows:

- Cyndi Lauper - 303,500
- Warren Zevon - 253,000
- Soundgarden - 190,000
- Iron Maiden - 189,000
- Willie Nelson - 179,500
- Joy Division + New Order - 155,000
- Kate Bush - 143,000
- Sheryl Crow - 139,000
- Rage Against the Machine - 133,000
- The Spinners - 126,000
- The White Stripes - 94,000
- Missy Elliott - 72,000
- A Tribe Called Quest - 62,000
Voting is open through April 28th at Vote.RockHall.com or in person at the Museum in Cleveland. The Top 5 artists selected by the public will make up a “fans’ ballot” that will be tallied along with the other ballots to determine the 2023 Inductees. Voting is capped at one ballot per day.
Inductees will be announced in May along with the date and location of the induction ceremony in the fall.
