Mike McCready of Pearl Jam has posted a video of a new solo song that's a tribute to his late friend, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden.
McCready debuted the track, "Crying Moon," last Saturday in Seattle at a show where one of his side projects, The Rockfords, were playing.
McCready wrote in the Instagram caption, "This is a song I wrote as a goodbye to my friend Chris Cornell. 'Crying Moon' is part of my process in dealing with his death. Chris opened up my world to new heights when he let me play on Temple Of The Dog."
