Ed Sheeran finally delivered on his teases about a new album by revealing Autumn Variations -- in a hilarious mock infomercial that promises to "deliver the glum of autumn to the folks you love most.”
He tweeted the fake ad for a product he called the "Damper Hamper" -- a box containing musty clothing, a partially filled pint of beer, frozen peas and a rake, among other things. But then said the hamper was sold out, so buyers would have to settle for his new album.
While Ed hasn't revealed a release date, he did appear on Andy Cohen's podcast to say, "It’s an album about autumn and…I kind of have no expectations for it. It was the album I was trying to make and then – (subtract) happened. And then, so I kind of like have finished it over the last year and, yeah, it’s ready to come out, so I’m gonna put it out.”
