Phish are streaming their two weekend benefit concerts for Vermont and upstate New York flood relief for free.
The shows at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York Friday and Staurday night. They'll be streamed through the band's YouTube channel and LivePhish.com. Fans who watch the stream will be asked to donate to the WaterWheel Foundation's Flood Recovery Fund. All proceeds from the concerts and special VIP packages are also going to the fund.
Phish have a longtime connection to what local fans call SPAC -- they first played the amphitheater in 1992, and after this weekend they will have done 23 concerts there.
That puts the venue in a tie for the third most-played arena or amphitheater in their career with Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin.
They've only played Madison Square Garden and Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado more. :)
