The Rolling Stones did three consecutive tour debuts Wednesday in Santa Clara, California – 1978’s “Far Away Eyes,” Bob Dylan’s “Like a Rolling Stone" and “Bite My Head Off” off their latest, Hackney Diamonds. They wrap up Tour ’24 Sunday in Ridgedale, Missouri.
Foo Fighters only got to play half their set Wednesday night at CitiField in Queens, New York after a powerful line of thunderstorms moved through the New York City area. The band posted on its social media, "The safety of our fans, the crew and everyone working in the stadium comes first, so when it was determined that there was no safe way to continue the show in this dangerous weather, we had no choice but to call it a night." The Foos are back at CitiField Friday night.

Mark Knopfler has teamed with music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins to auction his signed Boswell acoustic guitar, of which only 24 were made. Bidding is open until August 14th at CrowdFunder.co.uk. They’ve already raised a little more than $12,000 of the $26,000 goal. Earlier this month, Knopfler was presented with the Music Icon Award at Nordoff and Robbins’ Silver Clef Awards in London.
Genesis are reissuing 14 studio albums on 180-gram vinyl starting August 23rd with Foxtrot, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Duke, Abacab, and Genesis. These will be followed on September 6th by Nursery Cryme, Selling England by the Pound, Wind & Wuthering, We Can’t Dance, and their final album, 1997’s Calling All Stations. The final four, released on September 27th, are A Trick of the Tail, …And Then There Were Three…, Trespass and Invisible Touch.
Talk Talk's It's My Life will get a 40th anniversary reissue on CD and vinyl on October 4th.
