Paul McCartney, fresh off going to the Super Bowl on Sunday, will play a surprise club show tonight (Tuesday) at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
It's either a warm-up for his appearance on Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary special on Sunday, or they're taping it for the show.
While there's no word of McCartney doing more shows this week, The Bowery has moved their originally scheduled show for Wednesday to Irving Plaza and canceled what was scheduled there for Thursday.
The Bowery Ballroom's capacity is 575.
