Wet Leg's new album Moisturizer, which is out tomorrow (Friday) features a bunch of songs about a subject they didn't tackle on their debut -- love.
Singer Rhian Teasdale told The Hollywood Reporter that "It wasn’t an interesting subject to me." But that changed when she met met her partner, a nonbinary musician that helped Teasdale realize that she was queer.
Teasdale said, “When you write a song, it’s a snapshot on how you’re feeling. I’m not consciously trying to write about a specific topic. But we started making the album and obviously my subconscious was like, ‘This one’s about love, oh this one too, and this one’s also about love.’"
Wet Leg is in Denver July 26th at the Fillmore.
