Weezer is dipping into a new color for their sixth self-titled album due out on August 21st.
It has a gold cover and the band's description of it reads, "Plated in what surface instruments call gold. It bears the name Weezer. Its surface is marked by four symbols believed to represent its creators."
They also call it their 20th album overall, which some fans dispute because the four 2022 releases under the name SZNZ (Seasons) were all originally billed as EPs.
The new single from the Gold Album is "We Might As Well be Strangers" and it features a guest appearance by Wednesday.
