The Smashing Pumpkins pre-Lollapalooza show at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre Wednesday had them welcome two very different guests.
Actor Barry Williams -- Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch -- came out to perform the sitcom's 1972 hit single “It’s a Sunshine Day.” Williams was a guest on Billy Corgan's The Magnificent Others podcast back in May, which was recorded at the Brady Bunch house in California. Watch the performance on YouTube.
The band also brought out former member and ex-Hole bassist Melissa Auf der Maur to perform the Machina/The Machines of God track “The Everlasting Gaze.” Check that out on YouTube.
The Pumpkins will headline Lollapalooza at Chicago's Grant Park on Friday.
